Members and guests were treated to an interesting demonstration of bird ringing on this year's Birds and Breakfast walk.
The walk explored woodland owned by Sarah Needs' family, where we saw baby blue tits and a wren being ringed by a licensed expert so that their patterns of migration can be recorded.
At the end of the walk we were really ready for some tasty food having been out since the early hours of the morning. The bacon, sausage and egg butties were just what we needed.
Well done Sarah and Co.
